NPFL: Rangers fall to Tornadoes, Nasarawa pip Katsina United

In their matchday 20 match at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu on Saturday, the Niger Tornadoes shocked the reigning Rangers 2-1.

The visitors exacted revenge for losing to Fidelis Ilechukwu’s team 1-0 at home in December of previous year.

The Rangers suffered their second home loss of the 2024–2025 campaign.

After 17 minutes, new recruit Ismail Sarki gave the Tornadoes the lead.

Rangers’ Collins Ugwueze equalized after the lead lasted four minutes.

In the 64th minute, Ifeanyi Okechukwu gave Tornadoes the victory.

at a hotly contested match at Lafia, Nasarawa United defeated Katsina United 1-0.

Both teams were separated on the day by a goal from Qamar Adegoke in the 34th minute.
