Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola has responded to a statement made by Nigerian businessman Alhaji Aliko Dangote concerning the Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority, NMDPRA, Farouk Ahmed.
Femi Otedola’s reaction was captured in a post that he uploaded on his official X handle on Monday, December 15, 2025.
Channels TV published a report in which Aliko Dangote accused Farouk Ahmed of corruption. He assured them that Ahmed pays $5 million for his children’s school expenses in Switzerland.
This is what Dangote said: “My children went to secondary school in Nigeria. They did not go outside Nigeria to attend secondary school.
“I don’t know why the authority Chief Executive, Mallam Farouk, has four children educated in Switzerland at the cost of five million dollars for their secondary school education alone, not university,”
However, Femi Otedola has now spoken out after the report leaked online. In a post on his official X handle, he questioned whether the Chief Executive Officer of NMDPRA is living lavishly on taxpayers’ money. According to Femi Otedola, Dangote has asked the federal government to probe Farouk Ahmed.
