Pastor Enenche states the solution to the end of killings in Nigeria

Pastor Paul Enenche, Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC) Worldwide, has emphasized that only a firm political will can put an end to the ongoing spate of killings across Nigeria.

Speaking to journalists on Wednesday in Yelewata, Guma Local Government Area of Benue State, Pastor Enenche condemned the recent massacre that claimed numerous lives on June 14, stating that there is absolutely no justification for such violence.

He stressed that Nigeria’s leadership holds the key to stopping the bloodshed, particularly referencing the brutal attack in Yelewata.

According to him, both federal and state governments must muster the political resolve needed to protect lives and uphold justice.

“The solution to this type of issue is the will in the hearts of the leadership of our nation, both at the federal and state levels.

“Leadership that has the will to do the right thing and that has the heart of the people should put anything political aside and look at realities on the ground.

“And to value human lives above every other consideration and do what is right, in the interest of the people, in the interest of their consciences and, in fact, that one day everybody will stand before God to give account of their lives to God,” he said.

Pastor Enenche reaffirmed his commitment to standing with the affected communities, noting that his visit was to offer support and condolences to the victims’ families, especially in Yelewata, where many were killed while asleep.
