Pastor on the run after gunning down two Immigration officers in Abuja

A man named Pastor Darlington shot and killed two immigration officials Friday night in the Sabon Iddo neighborhood of Abuja after they were mistaken for armed thieves. The incident caused chaos.

The city is in shock and the suspect is on the run after the tragic occurrence that happened at around 10:00 p.m.

Officers Oyomide Zion and Hakeem Mashood were shot as they were on a regular patrol.

Makama Zagazola claims that Uduk James, a third officer, sounded the alert, causing the Iddo Police Division to quickly respond.

The injured personnel were sent immediately to the Abuja-based Nigerian Air Force Base Hospital.

The shooter, who went by the alias Pastor Darlington, left the scene right away after the assault and is currently being pursued by security forces.

Police sources stated that a manhunt has been begun to track him down.
