Afrobeats singer Skales has opened up about his experiences with some artists he previously helped rise to fame in the music industry.

He expressed disappointment, revealing that many of those he once assisted have now betrayed him. Despite these setbacks, the Shake Body hitmaker shared that his faith in God remains unwavering.

Skales emphasized the importance of prayer and trust in God through difficult times, recalling it as the best advice his late mother ever gave him.

In a post on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Skales wrote:

“One day I’ll sit down and tell you a story of how a lot of people turned their backs on me, including people I helped build up in this industry. But guess what? God never failed me even when I was isolated… Don’t you ever stop praying and trusting God with everything you’ve got… Best advice my mom gave me!!!”
