Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the general election of 2023, has advised the younger people to never give up on Nigeria and to remain steadfast.

Speaking to young Nigerians at the Social Media Fest, SMFest, event in Owerri, Obi posted on Sunday using his official X handle.

By offering ideas, exposure, and insights that help people and businesses understand how to explore all the benefits of digitalisation, SMFest is a platform that teaches its audience how to use technology, social media, and innovation to advance their businesses, brands, and causes, according to ZINGTIE.

While acknowledging that Nigeria was passing through difficult times, the former governor of Anambra State urged the youth to have patience and fortitude, emphasising that success comes to those who stay the course, even in tough times.

“Yes, Nigeria is challenging right now, but those of us who are older are finding strength in the passion of the younger generation.

“And we say don’t give up! Whether it’s in business, skills development, education, or politics, don’t give up!

“Life will throw obstacles your way, but stand firm. If you need to, step back, rethink your strategy, evolve, and come back stronger,” he tweeted.
