Police makes deadly confirmation as rival cult groups clash in Delta community

On Monday, SP Bright Edafe, the public relations officer for the Delta State Police, revealed that two people had died after opposing cult groups clashed in the Obiaruku community.

In response to our correspondent in Warri sending him a WhatsApp message, Edafe confirmed the report without providing any information.

On Sunday night, the Vikings and Eiye cult groups clashed, resulting in the deaths of the deceased.

Whether the deceased belonged to any of the cult groups is unclear. They were killed in various parts of the town.

Members of the Eiye fraternity confronted one of them in a bar, shooting intermittently to frighten others away before they killed him.
