Following his principal’s trip to France, President Tinubu’s Special Advisor on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has responded to new criticisms.

Tinubu is now in the UK on a two-week vacation.

The president had departed the United Kingdom for France, it was revealed on Friday.

Social media users responded to this news in a variety of ways, with some even questioning Tinubu’s absence from Nigeria.

But in a post on X, Onanuga argued that Tinubu is not bound to the UK and can go anywhere he wants.

Onanuga wrote: “President Tinubu is on leave for two weeks. He is not restricted to the UK.

“It is his private time. He can go anywhere he so desires.

“He is still observing his leave.”
