Where’s Tinubu – Atiku’s aide, Ibe raises alarm over president’s whereabouts

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s media assistant Paul Ibe has expressed concern regarding President Bola Tinubu’s location.

Ibe said that the BRICS meeting in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which concluded a few days ago, was Tinubu’s most recent known engagement.

Tinubu had started a two-nation tour to Brazil and St. Lucia on June 28, 2025.

The Presidency said Tinubu was present at the 17th BRICS summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

However, the presidency has not mentioned Tinubu’s schedule since the summit concluded.

Sharing on X, Ibe pondered whether Tinubu’s plane was flying through a place where time stood still.

He wrote: “Many concerned Nigerians are asking where President Bola Tinubu is since the conclusion of the BRICS Summit in Rio de Janiero, Brazil.

“On Saturday, 28 June 2025, Tinubu commenced a two-nation visit to Saint Lucia and Brazil. The 17th BRICS Summit ended 3 days ago.

“There is no other engagement on his itinerary, according to the press statement preceding his trip, raising concerns about his whereabouts. However, mum is the word.

“Is it possible that the Nigerian President’s aircraft is passing through a zone where time is standing still? @grok.”
