On Tuesday, Primate Elijah Ayodele, head of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, issued a warning to Bayo Ojulari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL), regarding a possible ousting from his position.
According to a statement released by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele cautioned that some of Ojulari’s initiatives are likely to face serious challenges. He urged the NNPCL boss to exercise caution and diligence to avoid being undermined.
He said: “They want to remove the NNPC CEO, Bayo Ojulari. Many of his policies will be under threat; he needs to work very well so that he can overcome and succeed because there will be gang-up against him.
“They want to create problems for him, and he must be very careful of his doings; they want to remove him.”
The cleric also clarified that the message was not personal but a prophetic alert meant to help Ojulari avoid looming risks.
He advised the NNPCL CEO to remain attentive to divine guidance, noting that forces within the system are closely monitoring and waiting for any slip-up that could be used against him.
“I don’t have any personal issue with Bayo Ojulari. He has a good spirit and has good plans, but those who put him in charge are waiting for his mistake to remove him from the position.
“He should listen to and follow what God is telling him. They want to remove him; he must be careful.”
