Rasmus Hojlund names Man United’s most underrated player

Manchester United striker Rasmus Højlund has named the club’s ‘most underrated player.’

When asked by Sky Sports who he considers to be the most underrated player at Manchester United, the Denmark international pointed to Manuel Ugarte.

Ugarte, who joined the club in a £50 million transfer from Paris Saint-Germain last summer, has been a key player for Manchester United this season under manager Ruben Amorim.

Explaining his selection for mentioning Ugarte, Hojlund said: “I think you have seen it a little bit more now with the new manager coming in, how well he’s been doing.”

He added, “Obviously the results have not been good enough but he is been a standout player lately.

“You see his quality, you see those workhorses in teams, they don’t get the appreciation.”

Højlund himself joined Manchester United in a £72 million move from Atalanta last summer.
