Rooney’s next move after Birmingham City sack revealed

Wayne Rooney, a former striker for Manchester United, isn’t going to give up on managing football.

He still has a strong desire to be a successful coach, according to Sky Sports.

After just 83 days in command, Birmingham City fired Rooney on Tuesday.

After taking a long hiatus from football, the 38-year-old will consider what he wants from his future assignment.

Rooney acknowledged in a statement that “it will take me some time to get over this setback.”

It is acknowledged that he will not be actively considering any coaching chances or offers at this time.

Following Rooney’s dismissal, Birmingham has not yet reached an agreement with him on a compensation settlement.
