Davido’s associate, Ego ‘Tiny’ dies after penis enlargement procedure in Thailand

Popular Davido associate Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, widely known as Ego, has died following complications linked to a cosmetic procedure he underwent in Thailand.

Ego reportedly had the procedure in March 2026 while enjoying a luxury holiday in Thailand with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen.

According to TMZ, an inquest at the Inner West London Coroner’s Court heard that the wealthy British-Nigerian businessman and influencer received injections containing 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine into his penis.

The 43-year-old was staying with his wife at a Marriott hotel in Bangkok when he complained of chest pain and was rushed to Sukhumvit Hospital after reportedly losing consciousness twice.

Danielle reportedly informed the medical team about the filler injections, but Ego became unconscious before doctors could carry out a recommended CT scan.

Doctors later determined that he had suffered a pulmonary embolism, a blockage of a blood vessel in the lungs, and he was subsequently transferred to intensive care.

Medical personnel reportedly performed CPR on him for more than 100 minutes, but Ego died in the early hours of March 6.

A postmortem examination carried out in the United Kingdom reportedly detected cellular material in his lungs that matched the hyaluronic acid used during the procedure.

Coroner Jean Harkin subsequently concluded that Ego’s death was caused by a pulmonary embolism resulting from the cosmetic procedure.

ZINGTIE reports that Ego was well known on Instagram for documenting and displaying his luxurious lifestyle.

He was later laid to rest in London in a gold coffin reportedly valued at more than $745,000.

Speaking during the funeral, Davido said the events “don’t feel real,” describing Ego’s death as “heavy.”

Cubana Chief Priest also posted a video from the funeral ceremony in honour of the deceased.

He wrote: “Rest Easy Brother @ego2222. Even In Death, The Lifestyle Was Kept 700 For You.

“Today London Stood Still For You Tiny, We Love You, We Celebrate You and We Will Never Forget You Brother, We Lived Bro, Good Memories Na Water. RIP Big Tiny Please Watch Over Us #30BillionGeng.”
