Saheed Osupa reacts as Burna Boy names him among greatest musicians of all-time

Fuji music legend Saheed Osupa has responded to Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy naming him as his all-time greatest musician.

During a recent conversation with tennis star Roger Federer, Burna Boy shared that his “GOAT singers are mostly Fuji artistes like Saheed Osupa.”

Reacting via his X handle on Thursday, Osupa stated that Burna Boy paying tribute to him on a global stage was “a monumental moment that celebrates the soul of Fuji music and its timeless influence”.

He explained that the honour “not only, uplifts my journey, but also, shines a brilliant light on our rich cultural heritage, bridging generations and genres worldwide.”

The Fuji icon expressed gratitude to Burna Boy for the acknowledgment and mentioned that he eagerly anticipates attending one of Burna Boy’s forthcoming shows.

In the same interview, Burna Boy also mentioned 2Pac, Notorious BIG, Big Pun, and J Hus as his ‘GOAT rappers.’
