Cristiano Ronaldo, Al-Nassr’s captain, has responded to his team’s 2-1 defeat to Al-Qadisiyah in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday.
Al-Qadisiyah defeated Al-Nassr, with goals from Julián Quiñones and Nahitan Nández.
Ronaldo did score a goal for the hosts in the second half of the match at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh.
Ronaldo, in a post on his X account following the match, emphasized that the fight was not over.
However, the Portugal forward expressed confidence that Al-Nassr will recover from their defeat against the visitors.
“This fight isn’t over,” Ronaldo wrote on X. “We keep working, and we will rise together.”
The result of the match places Al-Nassr in second place, four points behind leaders Al-Hilal.
