After 20 years, well-known on-air personality Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, better known by his stage name Do2dtun, has left radio.
In a now-trending Instagram post, he revealed his departure.
“It’s time to say goodbye after 20 years on radio,” he wrote. It’s time for me to leave what I have loved and always cherished.
In an Instagram post published by Cool FM radio on Friday, Do2dtun reflected on his journey, recounting how he started as an intern and was taught by radio legends such as Olisa Adibua, the late Dan Foster, and Daddy Freeze before becoming well-known.
“This must be one of the hardest decisions I have made. I’m fulfilled in my heart that I built a legacy. Oh, my sweet home @coolfmlagos accepted me on Nov 1st, 2004, as an intern—dusty, unprepared, and knowing nothing about radio.”
