Sowore declares his stand on ADC coalition, tackles Atiku, El-Rufai, others

The opposition coalition’s members are “country and destiny destroyers,” according to activist politician Omoyele Sowore, who has stated that he cannot be a part of it.

Sowore blamed the coalition’s seasoned politicians for Nigeria’s persistent dysfunction.

He made the remarks during his Friday appearance on News Central’s Breakfast Central.

He bemoaned the coalition’s politicians’ tendency to rebrand themselves under various political guises.

Sowore said, “I have no doubts that I don’t need to be in bed with strange bedfellows.

“I cannot be on a bridge that has been built and broken by the same people.

“These are not bridge builders, these are country and destiny destroyers who have come together.”

The African Democratic Congress, or ADC, was formally accepted as the coalition’s political platform a few days ago.

The coalition’s members come from a variety of political groups.
