Kaduna State House of Assembly Speaker Yusuf Dahiru Liman has disbursed N100 million to support education and vulnerable groups in his constituency. The initiative covers NECO examination fees for 1,000 students and community welfare packages.
Key Highlights:
– NECO Fees: N40 million allocated to cover registration fees for 1,000 secondary school students.
– Community Packages: N60 million shared among party stakeholders and underprivileged residents as Eid relief.
Liman stated, “I have spent eight years in the House of Assembly and never received N8 million at once.” He praised Governor Uba Sani’s performance, saying, “Governor Uba Sani has stayed focused on project delivery without distractions.”
The Chief of Staff, Sani Liman Kila, hailed the initiative as a boost to human capital development, while the APC Chairman, Yakubu Ibrahim Soso, commended Liman for giving back to his community. A member of the Ulama Council, Mallam Ibrahim Mahe, emphasised education’s role in curbing social vices.
