State government appoints 21 new local govt secretaries

Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has approved the appointment of new secretaries for each of the state’s 21 local government councils.

The announcement was made in a statement released on Monday in Birnin Kebbi by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Yakubu Bala-Tafida.

The newly appointed council secretaries include: Muhammad Sani Aliero for Aliero LGA, Zainab Hassan Kangiwa for Arewa LGA, Lawali Target for Argungu LGA, Dallatu Muhammad NUT for Augie LGA, Mohammed Usman Gawamba for Bagudo LGA, Ahmed Magaji Zauro for Birnin Kebbi LGA, Mohammed Umar Bunza for Bunza LGA, and Abdulkadir Mohammed Kamba for Dandi LGA.

Also appointed are: Rabi’u Bena for Danko Wasagu LGA, Aliyu Abubakar for Fakai LGA, Aliyu Shayau Dalijan for Gwandu LGA, Sabi’u Dantani Jandutse for Jega LGA, Umar Faruq Sama’ila for Kalgo LGA, Suleiman Rabi’u for Koko/Besse LGA, Buhari A. Bawa for Maiyama LGA, Aliyu Mohammed Libata for Ngaski LGA, Aliyu Umar Diri for Sakaba LGA, Aminiu Muhammad Arzuka for Shanga LGA, Abdullahi Kwakware for Suru LGA, Nasiru G. Dantani for Yauri LGA, and AbdurRahman Manga for Zuru LGA.

In the statement, the SSG called on the newly named officials to carry out their duties with commitment and integrity, encouraging them to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of their respective local councils and Kebbi State as a whole.
