The terrible killings of two brothers, Comrade Bright Okezuo Onyenwoke and Engineer Jeff Okorodah Onyenwoke, by suspected gunmen have left the entire Abacheke community in Imo State’s Ohaji-Egbema Local Government Area in deep mourning, according to ABN TV.

The family claims that the tragic event, which took place in Abacheke on March 8, 2024, when the two boys were brutally murdered by unidentified attackers, caused indignation and sorrow throughout the neighborhood.

Engr. Jeff Okorodah Onyenwoke, his younger brother, was 36 years old, and the late Comr. Bright Okezuo Onyenwoke was 39.

On Saturday, April 19, 2025, their funeral service is planned to take place at their family compound in Abacheke, Ohaji-Egbema LGA, Imo State.

The brothers’ unexpected death has left their loved ones forever changed, and friends, family, and sympathizers from near and far are expected to come together to pay their ultimate respects to them.

The community is still demanding justice in the meantime, and security services are being urged to step up their efforts to find and apprehend those responsible for the horrible deed.

May their souls rest in peace.
