Terry G kicks over comparison with new artistes

Terry G, the stage name of Nigerian musician Gabriel Oche Amanyi, claims that no up-and-coming street performer can rival him musically.

The singer made this statement on Wednesday, protesting being compared to her more promising peers.

Embarrassed by the development, Terry G called the analogy “a bad match” in a message currently trending on his official social media handles.

In the post, he wrote: “Put some respect on my name.

“Comparisons have to be of equal match; then a better choice is made; comparing me with any new street sensation is a bad match; they can act crazy but not musically on my level on both vocal, playing of instruments, producing multi-platinum hits for several artistes and my catalogue.”
