VIDEO : Hair vendor apologises to Phyna over rented wig

The hairdresser who made fun of former Big Brother Naija contestant Josephine Otabor, also referred to as Phyna has issued a formal apology.

Phyna filed a case against the vendor earlier on Wednesday, alleging that she publicly humiliated her.

A few hours later, after it was rumoured that she was in police custody, Phyna published a video and a printed statement apologizing on her Instagram page in an attempt to win her freedom.

The hair vendor introduced herself in the video, saying, “My name is Dammy. I’m the lady who called out Phyna for the rented wig. I admit I overreacted by doing so, and I want to tender a sincere apology to her. It wasn’t my intention to dent her image; I sincerely apologize.”

She also expressed her regret for embarrassing the reality star in the endeavour.

According to ZINGTIE, Phyna was criticized on social media by DBeauty Mogul, a vendor, in December 2023 for allegedly neglecting to return a wig that she had hired after the allotted time.

Phyna responded to the accusation on her Instagram page by identifying her influence chasers and denying ever knowing the vendor.
