Tragedy as man allegedly kills father during argument in Bauchi

In Uzum Village, Giade Local Government Area, Bauchi State, a man named Limam Muhammad Baba has been taken into custody on suspicion of killing his biological father, Malam Baba Siti, during a furious argument.

On Thursday, July 3, at approximately 10:15 p.m., security analyst Zagazola Makama posted about the incident on X on Friday.

The post claims that after an argument between Limam and his father, Limam struck him on the head with a stick.

“The victim collapsed on the spot and lost consciousness,” Makama wrote.

Makama disclosed that the case was reported to the Giade Divisional Police Headquarters at approximately 10:30 p.m., according to police sources.

“A team of officers was quickly sent to the scene, where the suspect was arrested and the victim rushed to the General Hospital in Giade.

“Sadly, a medical doctor at the hospital confirmed that Malam Baba Siti was dead on arrival. His body was later deposited at the hospital morgue,” Makama added.

According to the authorities, an investigation is still on, and once it is finished, the suspect will face charges.
