English teams Birmingham City and Crystal Palace are interested in Basel attacker Philip Otele.

Since joining Basel from Al Wahda, a UAE Pro League team, Otele has made an impression.

During his six-month loan with the team, the 26-year-old scored nine goals in eighteen games.

At the conclusion of the 2024–2025 season, the change was finalized.

Otele has made 16 appearances for the RotBlau this season, with three assists and four goals.

His market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €5 million.
