Galatasaray insider Ali Naci Küçük has disclosed that Victor Osimhen has set certain conditions for him to consider staying at the club.

Küçük revealed that one of Osimhen’s demands influenced the club’s decision to sign Leroy Sané from Bayern Munich.

He explained that bringing in Sané was part of Galatasaray’s broader plan to attract the highly sought-after Nigerian striker.

Speaking to Futbol Arena’s YouTube channel via habersarikirmizi, Küçük shared that Osimhen would only commit to staying in the Turkish Süper Lig if the club strengthens the squad with top-quality players and builds a competitive team.

The German international, Sané, is poised to join the reigning Süper Lig champions after his Bayern Munich contract expires on June 30.

Sané might still feature for Bayern in the FIFA Club World Cup, which began recently in the United States.

The former Manchester City winger has already agreed to a three-year contract with Galatasaray, earning a net salary of €9 million per season, along with a €3 million loyalty bonus.

Galatasaray are keen to keep Osimhen after his impressive loan spell where he scored 37 goals and provided eight assists in 41 appearances.

However, Osimhen is taking his time before making any final decisions about his future.

““When Icardi signed for Galatasaray, he said, ‘If we are going to build a strong team, I will stay.’ Osimhen used the same sentence.”

He urged fans and the media to respect Osimhen’s patience during this period of uncertainty.

“Now let’s talk about the transfer issue. Galatasaray is in a hurry, but Osimhen is not.

“The player needs to be treated with understanding. Galatasaray has done the math well at the moment.”

The Turkish club reportedly offered Osimhen a €14 million salary plus bonuses, which the former African Footballer of the Year is carefully considering.
