Residents of Umoja Estate have been shaken by the tragic scene that started as a calm evening. According to reports, a 32-year-old mechanic stabbed his recently married wife after learning she had a child he was unaware of.

Only a few weeks prior, the couple had married in a vibrant ceremony that was attended by friends and relatives. The two had been living in harmony, according to their neighbors, until a mutual acquaintance paid them a visit over the weekend.

The man allegedly found out about his wife’s adult child from a prior relationship during that visit. The spouse looked sad and claimed to feel horribly betrayed, according to a neighbor.

Residents hurried over to assist the couple after hearing loud screams emanating from their home on Monday night. The male was allegedly carrying a kitchen knife, and the victim was discovered bleeding on the ground from multiple stab wounds.

In an attempt to save her life, neighbors hurried her to Mama Lucy Hospital. Unfortunately, when the physicians arrived, they declared her dead.

After responding to the emergency, officers from the Buruburu Police Station apprehended the culprit without any problems. The murder weapon was found at the crime scene, according to police confirmation.

After the investigations are finished, the suspect, who is presently in custody, is anticipated to appear in court. A post-mortem examination has been performed on the woman’s body at City Mortuary.

According to the victim’s family, they are still having difficulty accepting the tragedy. Discussions concerning secrecy and trust in contemporary marriages have been triggered by the case.

When confronted with emotional or relational difficulties, authorities have advised the public to seek assistance through counseling and discussion. The tragedy that terminated what seemed to be a blissful union has left Umoja residents shocked.
