UCL: They have collective mechanisms – Mikel Arteta names offensive team

Bayern Munich has been named a very “offensive team” in the UEFA Champions League this season by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.

Speaking ahead of Arsenal vs. Bayern Munich on Tuesday night at Emirates in the Champions League quarterfinal first leg, Arteta noted the Bundesliga powerhouses have group processes.

“It’s not only in the individual quality that they have, the collective mechanisms, they are a really offensive team,” Arteta told TNT Sports.

“You can see that, you look at the stats and what they generate, so it will put a question mark on us.”

He added, “We have worked obviously and we will try to deliver our best possible performance to avoid that happening because we know how important that is.”
