In addition, he assisted Real Madrid in winning the Champions League the previous campaign, and he was declared the Super Cup winner just last night.
According to Hargreaves (via @MadridXtra on X), the 32-year-old Spaniard is “Carvajal is probably the most underrated player in the world.”
With Valverde and Kylian Mbappe scoring in the second half, Real Madrid defeated Atalanta 2-0 in Poland to win the Super Cup.
