As she gets ready for her mother’s funeral, a lady in the UK revealed the responses of her friend in Nigeria, to whom she sent N30,000.

The lady in the UK, @jane_peterz, revealed in the video that she called her buddy to check if the transfer was successful.

The woman claims that once her friend attested to receiving the funds, she informed her that she was anticipating more.

She asked her friend how much she expected, and he said that it was either N150k or N200k.

She stated: “I wanted to cry. I don’t know why people see those abroad as if they’re plucking money from the tree. I never had that mentality even when I was back home in Africa.”

She added: “On top 12 hours shift, 1-hour unpaid break, train cancellations and bus delays, council tax, electricity, water and house expenses. It’s well. everyone needs to go abroad! maybe that will help.”
