UNICEF Young Leader on HPV advocacy, Rabiah Busari, explained that five local government areas with low vaccination turnouts—Ifẹ North, Ifẹ South, Ede North, Ede South, and Osogbo—will be targeted for intensified awareness and vaccination efforts. “We checked the data of all local governments in Osun State and identified these 5 local governments for their low turnout for this vaccine,” she said. “So, we are going back to these communities to vaccinate them and prevent cervical cancer and HPV.”

The campaign aims to increase vaccine uptake and protect young girls from cervical cancer, with 15 volunteers working over six months to drive awareness and vaccination efforts in the targeted areas.
