US election: Cardi B backs Kamala Harris for President

Vice President Kamala Harris is the Democratic Party’s candidate for president of the United States, and American rapper Cardi B supports her.

Following President Joe Biden’s debate with Republican Party candidate Donald Trump, Cardi B had previously said that Harris ought to be the Democratic Party’s nominee. She was thrilled to learn that Biden was stepping down and supporting Harris.

According to ZINGTIE, President Joe Biden resigned from his position as the Democratic Party nominee on Sunday and supported Kamala Harris, his vice president, to lead the organisation.

Cardi B responded on her X Twitter, writing: “Aha hahaha let’s go! I told y’all Kamala [Harris] was supposed to be the 2024 candidate… Stop f*ckin playin with me!”

In May, Cardi B informed Rolling Stone that she would not vote in the November election if the two front-runners, Republican Donald Trump and Democratic incumbent Joe Biden, were to remain in candidates.

She clarified that while she no longer saw Trump as “a dire threat,” she was left feeling “layers and layers of disappointment” by what she perceived to be both foreign and domestic mismanagement under Biden.
