Social internet is buzzing over a recent video of Baltasar Ebang Engonga, the finance minister of Equatorial Guinea, appearing in court with chains around his hands and legs.

It is no longer news that Baltasar Ebang Engonga, the finance minister of Equatorial Guinea, made headlines recently after it was revealed online that he had slept with more than 300 women.

Viral rumours state that 400 recordings showing Engonga with different women were found on his computer and leaked to the public, leading to an investigation into corruption against the Director General of Equatorial Guinea’s National Agency for Financial Investigation (ANIF).

However, social media users had a wide range of reactions to this action, with many of them responding in diverse ways.

In the social media footage, Baltasar was seen leaving the courtroom with chains around his legs while being cautiously led by heavily armed guards to a waiting car.
