On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, Barr. Solomon Dalung, a former minister of youth and sports development, claimed that former President Muhammadu Buhari was an outsider in his own administration.

Dalung asserted that Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the current president, co-led the Buhari administration and that Tinubu “nominated about five ministers.”

Members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) include Messrs. Buhari and Tinubu.

“That government of Buhari was even run jointly by the current president because he nominated about five ministers in that government and he nominated even the vice president.”
