VIDEO: Drama as lady’s brother returns her bride price to groom, sends message to in-Laws

Social media users are going crazy over a video of a man repaying his sister’s wedding price.

@freedom_mcfr posted a little video on TikTok with the caption, “POV: The bride’s brother sounding a clear warning to his in-laws.”

The bride’s brother provided an explanation for his behaviour in the video posted by @freedom_mcfr.

The man explained over the microphone at the wedding that the bride price was returned to convey that his sister was not being sold.

He urged his in-laws and groom to look after his sister, adding that his parents had approved the marriage. In his own words:

“Now, we are not returning it to you people. It is a sign to tell you that we are not selling our daughter to you.

“We are not doing what? Selling our daughter to you people. So, my parents have blessed you and I believe very well you will take care of her.

“But, should incase, know where she is coming from. So, please, my in-laws, take good care of her and our blessings will always be with you people.”
