Because he denied that he was the one who gave birth to him, a Nigerian man has taken the guy he thinks is his father to court.

A video that has gone viral on social media claims that the young man is Jibuno Ezinwa and that his “father” is Jibuno Jossy.

Ezinwa claims that his mother made it quite evident to him that Jibuno was his father.

He claimed to have adopted Jibuno as his surname because he was raised in the family home.

Jibuno, however, denied being the father of Ezinwa, claiming that he had made it apparent that the pregnancy was not his when the child was born in 1984.

Jibuno said: “I’m not the father because I had a relationship with the mother in 1982 and he was delivered in 1984, June. I know that the gestation period for humans is nine months. Or maybe something, either a month or less. So that is why I said I’m not the father. The problem is that when he was delivered in 1984, my attention was called and I told them that I’m not the father.”

Jibuno claimed that his mother returned, got the boy, and started rearing him even though he had refused to adopt him in 1984.

According to him, it was found that Ezinwa exhibited some behaviors that were out of character for the family members.

He added that a DNA test verified he is not Ezinwa’s father and that his blood type is different from the young man’s.

Jibuno claims that due of the continuous land sharing in his village and his declaration to the residents that the young guy is not his son, Ezinwa filed a lawsuit against him in the Justice Court.
