VIDEO: LASU lecturer allegedly forces students to stand in heavy rain

A frightening video that purports to show Lagos State University (LASU) Department of Agriculture students soaked and visibly shivering in severe rain at the behest of a lecturer has caused a great deal of concern on social media.

The video, which was first shared by naijaeverything_verified, showed students in full farming attire, drenched and shaking as the rain fell steadily. According to the post’s description, the lecturer punished them by making them stay in the rain.

“Omohh!! Which kind wicked lecturer be this this. He made students stay inside a heavy rain so as to punish them,” the post reads.

Even more concerning are student reports that the instructor routinely makes students face difficult circumstances if they don’t say “goodnight, sir.”

Unverified claims that have surfaced in the wake of the video are even more concerning.

The lecturer is infamous for misusing his position, according to a number of pupils, and allegations of sexual exploitation for grades are currently becoming more widespread.

“The LASU board should investigate immediately,” the original post urged, adding that “some videos related to his abuse of power are now circulating on the internet.”

Students are demanding quick action because they fear that if nothing is done, the professor may endanger their graduation.
