VIDEO: Nigerians reacts as Celestial Church prophet sells candle for N1.5 million in church

The video of a prophet from the Celestial Church selling a large candle for N1.5 million at a service has been the subject of ongoing controversy.

On Sunday, the enormous candle was offered for sale at Ephata Parish.

After a young man paid N1.5 million for the popular video posted on TikTok by @yourariesqueenofficial, it sparked intense reactions.

The prophet in the video began bidding at N500,000 and continued until one of the members purchased it for N1.5 million.

Captioning the video, the user wrote; “A giant candle was sold today at Ephphata parish. Omo, I was wowed. It was later sold for N1.5 million. Celestial with doings. Hmmmm”.

Many internet users questioned the rationale behind such activities during worship in response to the contentious video.

The church has not yet responded to the video, according to ZINGTIE.
