The Nigerian President has been formally welcomed by King Charles III and his Queen, Camilla, at the Royal Dais in Windsor Castle.

Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, introduced President Bola Tinubu and his wife Oluremi to the Royal Family.

The event showcased an array of royal accolades, among them a 42-gun salute from the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery.

On Tuesday, President Bola Tinubu left Nigeria for a state visit to the United Kingdom, with the goal of bolstering the diplomatic and economic connections between the two countries.

The visit is anticipated to center on enhancing bilateral ties, drawing in foreign investment, and promoting collaboration in essential areas such as trade, security, and education, thereby representing a significant milestone in Nigeria–UK relations.
