VIDEO: Sen. Akpabio lamented that Peter Obi received more applause than he got at Herbert Wigwe’s family funeral – Atedo Peterside

To be clear, I was one of the people who thought the Senate President’s remarks during the Wigwe Family Funeral in Port Harcourt were offensive.

He started by complaining that @PeterObi got more applause than he did (Akpabio), and then he invited us to join him in comforting the widow who was lying in one of the three caskets in front of him.

A joke? At a solemn Combined Funeral, political jabs? and he thought that was completely insensitive and self-centred.
