As the estranged wife of Nollywood star Yul Edochie and a rising actress, May Edochie has stepped up to aggressively defend her daughter Danielle Edochie from unfounded allegations and the harmful portrayal of her as disrespectful and unpleasant.
Early on Thursday, February 20, May posted an emotional video on her official Facebook page in which she reacted to those who were posing as Danielle online.
She revealed how, in an attempt to increase traffic to their videos, these imposters have been stealing stuff from Danielle’s legitimate social media profiles and manipulating her image to make it appear as though she is not.
May spoke with the anguish of a mother and the determination of a fighter, expressing her shock at the lengths someone would go to in order to discredit a defenseless young girl.
She pondered the motivations behind these heinous deeds and what she and her daughter might have done to merit such brutality.
May shared the courageous actions she had done to counter this threat because she was determined to recover her daughter’s story.
The mother of three stated that she was able to persuade Danielle to create an official Facebook page, publicly tag her daughter’s account with its true identity, and encourage her fans to unfollow the phony sites and support the legitimate one.
