A man is shown attacking two police officers on the road in a video that is becoming viral on the internet.
Drivers and onlookers watched in shock as the violent incident apparently took place on a busy road in broad daylight.
The individual, whose identity is not revealed, is seen fighting violently with the officers.
Although the precise cause is still unknown, it was clear that a confrontation started when an argument got out of hand.
The two officers are repeatedly overpowered by the man in the video, who hits them and forces them to retreat multiple times. The audience reacted to the man’s persistence despite the authorities’ attempts to regain control.
People were observed taking pleasure in the altercation as the attacker brutally attacked the police officers because no one tried to settle the man.

A Rivers State High Court, sitting in Port Harcourt has dismissed a motion on notice seeking leave to appeal as an interested party in the suit filed by William Fialasoika and 24 others against the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, over the party’s congresses in the state. The sacked PDP Rivers State Chairman, Chukwuemeka Aaron, had filed the motion on behalf of those purportedly elected as state executives. Also included were Oye Fubara Igenewari, representing those elected as local government executives, and ThankGod Beke, representing ward executives As interested parties, they asked the court for permission to appeal the ruling that removed them from office. The PDP, the original suit's respondent, has already appealed the decision that declared the congresses invalid, thus Justice Stephen Jumbo rejected the motion in his decision on Friday.
