VIDEO: What happened when Peter Obi arrived Mr Ibu’s funeral

In Enugu state, the late Nollywood legendary actor John Okafor, commonly known as Mr. Ibu, is being laid to rest. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate in the general elections of 2023, has arrived for the funeral.

“Mr Peter Obi arrives at Amuri, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State to pay his last respects to the late Nollywood actor, Chief John Okafor (Mr Ibu),” a user on X said in a video sharing post.

ZINGTIE recalls that rumors of Mr. Ibu’s illness and need for financial support surfaced around October 2023.

However, his family acknowledged in November 2023 that he had had one of his legs amputated in order to preserve his life.

On Saturday, March 2, the comedic actor passed away.
