In the midst of the turmoil surrounding Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s accusation against him, Senate President Godswill Akpabio made a humorous comment to former Senator Mrs. Uche Ekwunife during an occasion.

In a video that Viable Television posted, Akpabio revealed that Ekwunife had served beside him in the 8th Senate and that he had even paid her a number of house calls. Additionally, he claimed that he paid her a visit when she was being given a chieftaincy title, but that he never mistreated her during those visits.

Additionally, Akpabio said that he was connected to and had a special place in his heart for the other female senators in the 8th Senate.

In Akpabio’s words: “Distinguished Senator Uche Ekwunife also served with me in the (8th senate), I even went to her house when she was having a chieftaincy title. I visited your home more than once or twice and there was no time I harassed you”
