WAHALA: Man who checked into Lagos hotel displays warning note he found in his room

A man named @kaynixscrewedu shared the warning notice he discovered in his hotel room with his TikTok followers.

He was amused to find such a caution letter when he checked into the hotel room in Lagos.

He laughed at the hotel while showcasing their branded card on social media. “Thanks for understanding,” he said.

The hotel management told the guest that the room he had checked into was a non-smoking accommodation by means of the warning card.

There was a warning on the card that smoking in the room would result in a $250 (N387,149) cleaning fee.

Additionally, it stated that the guest’s billing will be charged for smoking. The card’s message said:

“Dear guest.

“You are currently staying in a non-smoking room.

“For smoking in this room a fee of 250 USD (N387,149) will be applied to your invoice to cover cleaning costs.

“Thank you for your understanding.”
