“Wedding bells to mourning” – Immigration officer loses life in auto crash days after wedding

Four days after his wedding, Angbashimu Gideon Yusuf, an official with the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), reportedly died in a deadly accident.

On March 8, 2025, in Lafia, Nasarawa State, Gideon and his bride, Jummai Blessing Sunday, celebrated the start of their new life together by exchanging vows.

However, happiness soon gave way to sadness after he lost his life in a car accident on March 12.

His friends, family, and coworkers have been crushed by the news of his sudden death. Many people have expressed their sorrow on social media, calling the young cop a good-hearted person and a committed professional.

People have been expressing their sorrow and offering condolences to his wife and other loved ones as tributes have poured in.
