Suspected bandits invaded the Kware community in Sokoto State on Friday night, killing two people in a violent raid.

Shamsu Na Alje and Ya’u Na Dudu were killed during the incident, which saw the perpetrators shoot erratically.

Bakatsine, a security analyst, reported the event in a post on X (previously Twitter) on Saturday.

According to the post, armed men assaulted the village late at night, spreading terror among the residents.

“Yesterday night, bandits stormed Kware community shooting sporadically, they killed two people namely Shamsu Na Alje and Ya’u Na Dudu,” the post read.

As of the time of reporting this article, Sokoto State officials have not to issue an official statement regarding the attack.
