A Nigerian woman was humiliated when she farted loudly while on a date at a restaurant.
In a post on X (previously Twitter), she said that the man she was seeing begged for a second date because he wanted to see her again.
She was too shy to say yes, even though he seemed interested.
In her post, she wrote: “I’m crying lmaoooo, this girl went on a date with a really nice guy and mistakenly farted loudly in a restaurant.”
She continued,“He’s begging her for a second date, but she’s so embarrassed that she doesn’t want to.”
As the post gained popularity on the internet, a lot of people hurried to leave comments to share their thoughts.
See some reactions below:
@adolbarbie: “I’ll delete all socials, change my name, move to somewhere I’ll live out my life in a small, cool hut. A village preferably and I’ll farm.”
@Rasaq4Eniola: “Her plan was to let it out quietly. Devil said no. I fell down on my first date, massive fall.”
@Row_Haastrup: “What is marriage without fart? That’s one of the things that keep the marriage going, in case you don’t know.”
@thatpoetclem: “It’s not a big deal, it’s a human thing though she could have maintained more composure but still.”
@Princez_eve: “It shouldn’t be that serious now. She should not just go to the same restaurant for the second date.”
@aneetarh1: “He’s clearly into her. She’ll be fine eventually, It’s fart she farted, she didn’t kill anybody.”
@vels20: “Lol, on another note, this is actually an opportunity for them to vibe on that level…if he was aware and still invited her out again, it definitely will be their inside joke.”
@meraki_baby: “This has actually happened to me before too, meeting someone for the first time and I mistakenly farted, felt embarrassed but it’s not intentional.”
