Former Manchester United star Paul Pogba has shared what stands out to him about Barcelona’s rising talent, Lamine Yamal.

Yamal has quickly become an integral part of Barcelona’s first team under manager Hansi Flick, playing a key role in the club’s triumphs in both La Liga and the Copa del Rey last season.

At just 17 years old, the Spanish winger is already being considered one of the frontrunners for the 2025 Ballon d’Or.

Speaking in an interview with ESPN, Pogba who is currently unattached after parting ways with Juventus in 2024—praised Yamal’s mindset, saying, “what impresses him about the winger is that he has the mentality of an adult at his age.”

“He is incredible. What impresses me about him is that he has the mentality of an adult at his age,” Pogba said.

“He always plays clearly, and at such an age, that is crazy,” the Frenchman added.
