Victor Osimhen spoke with his Nigerian international teammate Ademola Lookman during the Super Eagles’ recent World Cup playoff victory against Gabon to discuss moving to Galatasaray in 2026, according to sport analyst Zeki Uzundurukan.

According to Uzundurukan, Osimhen instructed Lookman to transfer to Galatasaray the next season. The Atalanta attacker reportedly expressed a desire to join the Turkish Super Lig winners.

Remember that on Sunday, Nigeria will play the Democratic Republic of the Congo after defeating Gabon 4-1 in Morocco.

After failing to leave Atalanta last summer, Lookman has been connected to a switch to Galatasaray ahead of the January transfer window.

Uzundurukan gave an update on Lookman amid Galatasaray’s interest through Habersarikirmizi, saying: “Victor Osimhen met with Ademola Lookman during the Gabon match.

“Osimhen told Lookman to come to Galatasaray and gave him information. Lookman also wants to come to Galatasaray, and his annual salary is €8 million,” he said.
