Helen Loveth, a Nigerian woman who testified before Evangelist Ebuka Obi’s Zion Ministry regarding the purchase of a N500 million property, has disclosed the reasons behind her deception.
Loveth had claimed that she was able to buy the opulent five-bedroom home because of supernatural intervention.
After she was seen peddling drinks in Enugu over the weekend, social media went crazy.
Prophet Ebuka Obi openly distanced himself from the woman after a video of people confronting her went viral online, claiming he didn’t know her.
Because she was in the process of buying the house, the Enugu-based woman, who looked clearly frightened throughout questioning, claimed that she delivered the statement as an act of faith.
But after being taken into custody by the police, she stated, “I did not build the house. We’re in the process of buying it. I have checked it, and the agent said we should go and meet the landlord. It is not mine yet. I don’t own any house.”
Loveth, who could not provide the house address, added, “I don’t own it yet. I wanted to pay in instalments.”
